Your Inner Beauty Matters More Than a Few Extra Kilos!
This year, I’m celebrating more than just another birthday.
I’m celebrating self-awareness, confidence, worth, and appreciation.
Because how many times have you — as a woman — wished you looked different?
How often have you walked into a store, spotted an outfit you loved, then walked away because you didn’t feel confident about how it would look on your body?
We’ve all been there.
Women go through a constant cycle of ups and downs, often invisible from the outside but deeply felt within.
From pregnancy to postpartum, from perimenopause to chronic stress, our bodies are constantly shifting — and our hormones follow suit.
✨ Burnout: According to a 2021 Gallup study, 55% of women report experiencing frequent stress — a feeling amplified by work and family pressures. Women are more likely to experience workplace burnout compared to men (69% versus 56%).
✨ Hormonal Impact: The American Psychological Association shares that women’s hormonal fluctuations, from PMS to perimenopause, lead to increased emotional strain, contributing to anxiety and stress.
✨ Exercise and Mental Health: A recent study by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) found that 46% of women exercise less due to mental and physical exhaustion, yet exercise is often seen as the key to feeling better.
So yes — some women may look “in perfect shape,” but inside, they’re exhausted.
And others, who feel they’ve lost control of their physical appearance, may in fact be doing the hard inner work that nobody sees.
This year, I struggled too.
I tried to be in better physical shape.
And I couldn’t.
But instead of self-blame, I leaned into self-compassion.
I reminded myself, over and over:
It’s okay — you’re trying.
It’s okay — your mental health matters more than a few extra kilos.
It’s okay — your worth is measured by the love you give, not your waistline.
It’s okay — your values, your kindness, your light… that’s what truly matters.
This is not a message to "accept and do nothing."
No.
I still believe in striving for better — for building a healthier, stronger body.
Not for perfection, but for vitality. So that we can live fully in our bodies and feel alive.
But before we get there, we must acknowledge this truth:
You’re already carrying so much.
You’re not lazy. You’re loaded.
Start by untying the knots —
One by one.
Start with small goals.
Start with feeling good.
Then, gradually… take on more.
Real Change Starts at the Core
This year, I realized that before I strengthen my body, I must first strengthen my core —
Not my abs, but my:
Core beliefs
Core values
Core resilience
From there, the outside will follow — naturally, peacefully, and in alignment with who I truly am.
Because you are beautiful not because of the size you wear! you are beautiful because of all the inner beauty you have within you.
True beauty doesn’t come from an outside appearance — it radiates from within.
The body is just a cover. But the soul, the heart, and the spirit -Those are what make us truly beautiful.
